CSUC ORGANISES KENKEY PARTY

It was all food affairs on Saturday, 25th February, 2012 when the Communication Studies Department of Christian Service University College, Kumasi feeds the entire student body with kenkey and several varieties of fishes on the school campus.

The event dubbed “kenkey party” was part of the activities of the department’s week long celebration. The kenkey party which was initially intended to cater for only communication students later saw students from other departments enjoying it.

Faculty members and the students could not hide their joy since the successful event enriched lecturers and students relationship. Some lecturers of the Communication Studies Department even shared their meals with the students.

TRUCK KILLS FOUR KIDS AT SANTASI

Tragedy hits the people of Santasi today when a cement loaded truck runs into four kids and injured several others at the Santasi main lorry station.

According to an eye-witness account, the driver of the truck with registration number AS 5018-12 lost control of the steering wheel and runs into four kids who were waiting for their school bus and injured several others.

The driver of the truck took to his heels after the gory incident. At the time of filing this report, the police and fire service personnel were at the scene and have began investigations.

 

The bodies of the four kids have been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue for autopsy and the injured are responding to treatment.
